Where We Work, Beneficiaries, and Organizational Capacity

Human Appeal Associates (HAA) is committed to transforming lives across South Sudan. Between 2017 and 2024, HAA reached 50,000 people—40% women, 35% men, and 25% children—ensuring inclusion of persons with disabilities and people living with HIV/AIDS.
Operating in 10 states and 15 counties, HAA implements programs in justice, WASH, health, education, and food security & livelihoods (FSL) that deliver tangible results while strengthening systems. By engaging in national and state-level policy processes, HAA has contributed to the adoption of policies and guidelines that expand equitable access for vulnerable populations.

HAA’s strength lies in its 80+ South Sudanese professionals, who lead interventions across Health, WASH, FSL, Education, Protection, and NFI clusters. With headquarters in Juba and operational presence in Wau, Yambio, Lakes, Warrap, Upper Nile, Unity, Jonglei, Eastern Equatoria, Northern Bahr el Ghazal, and Abyei Administrative Area, HAA ensures support reaches those most in need.
As a registered member of the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC No. 2363) and the NGO Forum, HAA promotes transparent response mapping, reduces duplication, and strengthens equitable coverage. Every dollar invested translates into measurable impact, stronger systems, and lasting change for South Sudan’s most vulnerable communities.

Strategy

Five-Year Strategy Plan (2025–2030)

Human Appeal Associates (HAA) has developed a five-year strategic plan (2025–2030) to guide its humanitarian and development programming. The plan focuses on three core thematic areas—emergencies, health, and livelihoods—with objectives that are interlinked and mutually reinforcing.

Donation

Donations are vital to sustaining our work and reaching the most vulnerable communities. Every contribution—large or small—helps us provide emergency relief, healthcare, education, clean water, food security, and livelihood support.
